Love and Information explores how an infinite flow of data, in our heavy tech age, can alter our relationship to each other and ourselves, our ability to communicate and our capacity for love. Thematically dealing with the ways we crave, process and reject knowledge and how we connect and fail to connect with one another.
The play comprises over 50 short scenes, with close to 100 characters. None of the scenes necessarily relate and some of these ‘moments’ last no more than a few lines. Characters are not given names, gender or age; the task throughout the process has been to conceive a cohesive and fully detailed world to house this kaleidoscope of action.
